Curriculum Vitae del prof. Vito ALBINO

 

Nato a Bari il 10/9/1957, si laurea nel 1982 in Ingegneria Meccanica presso l’Università di Bari.

Dal 1986 al 1987 è visiting scholar presso il Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering della University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati (OH, U.S.A.).

Dal 1988 al 1992 è ricercatore di Ingegneria economico-gestionale presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria dell'Università della Basilicata.

Dal 1992 al 2000 è professore associato di Ingegneria economico-gestionale presso la Facoltà di Ingegneria dell'Università della Basilicata.

Nel 1990 e nel 1997 è visiting professor presso il Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering della University of South Florida, Tampa (FL, U.S.A.).

Dal 1995 al 1998 è membro del Comitato scientifico del Parco scientifico “Tecnopolis-Csata” di Valenzano (Bari).

Dal 1997 al 2000 è membro del Nucleo di valutazione del Politecnico di Bari.

Dall’Ottobre 2000 è professore ordinario di Ingegneria economico-gestionale (SSD ING-IND/35) presso il Politecnico di Bari. Insegna corsi di Economia e gestione dell'innovazione e Gestione dei progetti.

È fondatore e responsabile scientifico del Laboratorio di Knowledge Management del Politecnico di Bari.

Dal 2001 al 2004 è coordinatore scientifico del progetto CampusOne per il Politecnico di Bari.

Nel 2002 è componente del Gruppo di Lavoro del MIUR per la selezione dei progetti di internazionalizzazione del sistema universitario italiano

Dal 2003 al 2009 è Direttore del Dipartimento di Ingegneria Meccanica e Gestionale del Politecnico di Bari.

Dal 2006 è membro del Comitato scientifico del corso di dottorato in Gestione dell’innovazione e dello sviluppo prodotto della Scuola Interpolitecnica di Dottorato (Bari, Milano, Torino).

Dal 2006 al 2010 è componente del Comitato Ordinatore della Facoltà di Economia, Università della Basilicata (Potenza).

Dal 2007 al 2009 è Presidente dell’Associazione italiana di Ingegneria Gestionale.

Dal Dicembre 2009 è responsabile scientifico dei progetti dell’Industrial Liaison Office del Politecnico di Bari.

Nel 2010 è co-direttore della Scuola estiva “Sustainable Strategies and Operations” presso la Columbia University (NY, USA).

Dal 2011 è consigliere di amministrazione del Distretto tecnologico pugliese  della meccatronica (MEDIS).

Dal 2011 è componente del Consiglio di Territorio Sud Continentale di UniCredit (dal 2011 al 2012 è vice-presidente per Puglia e Basilicata).

Dal 2012 è membro della commissione Polimi International Fellowship del Politecnico di Milano.

Dall’Ottobre 2012 è prorettore delegato per l’Industrial Liaison Office del Politecnico di Bari.

Ha svolto attività di ricerca e seminari presso numerose università italiane e straniere tra cui la University of Cincinnati (OH, USA), il Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MA, USA), la Syracuse University (NY, USA), la Columbia University (NY, USA), la New York University (NY, USA), la University of South Florida (Tampa, FL, USA), la Universidad de Buenos Aires (Argentina), la Universidad National de La Plata (Argentina), la Keele University (UK), l’INSA (Lyon, F) e la VIA University College (Horsens, DK).

È senior member dell’IIE (Institute of Industrial Engineers), membro dell’AiIG (Associazione italiana di Ingegneria Gestionale), dell’IIOA (International Input-Output Association), dell’EUROMA (European Operations Management Association) e dell’AOM (Academy of Management).

Responsabile di numerosi progetti di ricerca nazionali e internazionali, conduce ricerche nei settori della gestione dell’innovazione e della sostenibilità ambientale, con particolare riferimento ai sistemi di imprese.

E' autore di oltre 150 lavori scientifici di cui 43 articoli su riviste internazionali con referee, 20 libri e contributi a libri internazionali con referee.
